Designer Felix Guyon shares a penthouse in a 25-storey building on Nuns’ Island in Montreal, with a stunning view of the Saint Lawrence River. See how he created a modern space for homeowner Mélanie Bourdeau and her family using clean lines and industrial elements.
The main living area is open concept so a cohesive design plan was essential. Sticking to a contemporary aesthetic, Felix used steel and walnut throughout the home. In the living room, an expansive marble wall with a built-in fireplace brings brightness and warmth. Sleek cabinets and a hidden storage pantry in the kitchen make it easy to keep the space tidy. In the media room, an integrated TV unit and built-in desk offers a minimalist look. A similar style is carried into the teen bedrooms, but with a twist that reflects their personalities. The all-white master bedroom offers a more serene feel, featuring a kitchenette that makes it easy to entertain guests on the attached terrace.

What a fantastic space to live!
What a lovely family for a lovely home
0:25 BROO that Basil looks saad
furniture is great, flooring too bland
The designer's a lovely guy, but I must say this (about MOST contemporary interior design)… When and why did everything become so fucking beige? There should be characterful, eye catching design elements in a home. But now everything just looks like an airport check-in. What happened to all the colour? Why is everything grey, brown, beige or white? Why do people now have kitchens that look like intensive care units?
Wow
I don't like the color much. Nice home though.
i can do this too, if my client got the budget. 11 out of 10 they dont.
Congratulations you recreated a Marriot in your house
Everything except those horrible horrible pillows….. like howwww … everything else wow

Hello Felix the kitchen the foyer and the dining do form a part of the cohesive unit, but I do not think the living room does.Nevertheless that's one of the best galley kitchens have come across.
Nice but too neutral for my taste- I like it but with some pops of color, cobalt and yellow- just some or red.
But great pallet and well done.
Felix Guyon is a character..lol Love the design!
