H&H‘s Joel Bray and Reiko Caron transform the Garden Suite at Toronto’s Shangri-La Hotel into a festive and cozy space for the holidays. Get their expert tips on how to add sophisticated holiday style to your home.
To set the tone, Joel and Reiko added a faux Christmas tree to the living room. Next, they hung a garland with stockings under the TV in lieu of a fireplace. A large, wintry piece of art and metallic, cable knit and velvet pillows bring warmth to the sofa area. In the bedroom, pillows and a faux fur throw add texture, while a wreath above the bed brings seasonal charm. A line of mini potted trees along the windowsill in the bathroom offer a hint of cheer, and mercury glass accessories dress up the vanity. Watch how these details transform the space into the ultimate Winter Wonderland Suite, ideal for celebrating the holidays.

Joel and Reiko… I LOVE when you guys come together to decorate spaces. Great job as always. 3 years later… I'm totally inspired :).
Love winter wonderland look! It’s gorgeous!
What the hell is she wearing? It looks like she's ready to mop the floor! And that hair!
The bathroom needed window coverage. I can't imagine anyone wanting to use the bathroom which is so viewable from the huge windows.
Too many pillows on the sofa. The vine wreath on the headboard is silly. The tree was nice.
Honestly one of the best and simplest makeovers I've seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing I'm gonna use this as inspiration 😀
So gorgeous!!!!!
Making the sofa match the artwork? That’s just tacky. Everything else is just over done. 👎
Love the new bathroom but you over decorated the living room. Sorry, the first time I am disappointed w your work
Awesome job. I love to see these two designers work together!
It's beautiful! Where do you buy the inserts for the pillow covers? or rather, how do you fill them?
it looks really worm and cozy ugh i love it
I absolutely love Christmas! This is so wonderful and beautiful!
Nicely done!
OMG I LOVE IT.You both did a really FANTASTIC JOB I absolutely love the change in the living room and the bathroom with the trees by the window AWESOME!!! Would love to know where one can get that beautiful acorn garland hanging on the bed posts. I had to look at this video twice as i enjoyed it so much.
Hugs Alli
So beautiful!
so elegant and beautiful…thanks for the great ideas
This looks amazing. Well done.
I love the way American's and Canadian's dress their homes during Christmas. Make you want to never leave the house.
The room is a little bit darker before 🙂
So pretty.
i love this decoration that my husband will approve. Agree with those over the top bling Christmas decoration -too much for our taste.
GORRRGEOUS you guys! I'm so inspired by the textures and muted colors. It's perfection.
Great job guys! I love the overall green palette in the living room and the natural garland layered over the curtains on the bed!
loooove it
Looks amazing! 👌
Nice and cozy. Such a beautiful sweet.
You guys rocked it!
Hated most of the Christmas decoration ideas before watching this video. The guys are really talented and have sense of style, nothing too bright or cheap looking. Thanks for idea!
love it
This was fabulous! xo
Love how festive yet chic this looks. Not a fan of kitschy, over the top holiday decor.
That rug really ties the room together.
2:32 assuming you wanted to sit on the sofa with your wife, would you have to move all the excess pillows away? This is just useless and makes your life harder.
fantastic colours, textures, and touches that gives it the kiss of the holidays!
beautiful
