See how we designed a beautiful nursery in a rental! We sold our home in California and are renting while we focus on growing our business. Doing what we do, it kills me that I can’t wallpaper or hang light fixtures! Watch this episode to see how we transform a bland rental space into a beautiful nursery for our baby girl.

You two are so cute!!! Beautiful family!!!
Lovely!
Do you not like to use a blind with a drape? Especially in a sleeping area? Seems like blinds block more light when needed. Beautiful as always!
“PIVOT! PIVOT! PIVOT!”
Awesome tour!
I finally moved too!
I uploaded an empty apartment tour video 🙂
Check it out and let me know what you think?
Spoiler alert: My place is not as nice as yours 😛
You all are just wonderful, inspiring and fun!!! Loooove watching you. Addicted! 😚
I love the video introduction what a lovely family. Love Studio McGee you work is making my passion for interior design grow even more. 😍❤️
Is she self educated? For some reason I get more motivated and inspired when I find out their self taught. Just a question I’m always curious about
Omg love!!
Love ALL your work, its so refreshing everytime!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾
Just found you guys. And you're awesome. Thank You for this overview. I love hearing your story!! Wish you could do my new home 🏡. I'm in oklahoma
That turned out beautiful. I'm a mess right now figuring out how to style my 11month old baby boy's room that he shares with his 7 year old sister. Any tips/advice please?!
You guys just got a new Subscriber 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Nice video! Big like! 😀
I'm so glad I found your channel! Could you please do a makeover on a rental main bedroom?would love to see that 😊
You guys have great style. Also, smart of you to have a product business. Many folks like an interior designer’s taste but have no idea where to get the look. You offer it.
It would be great to do a mini series on decor in rented homes- no paint, no wallpaper, no changing the floor, no holes in the walls, no changing the lighting- this is what we deal with in the UK! And really really small spaces!
Hello studio McGee I would really like to know where you got the art print in Ivy's room from. I really like it and want to put it in my little girls room.
Oh man! This video is sooo good! My husband and i are currently a few months away from setting up a nursery in a rental and this is so helpful. Looking forward to seeing more of your rental design work and just more videos in general! I also loved how you guys showed some of the steps to how you designed the room. love love love! 💕
I just found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching your videos ever since. Truly inspiring! I love your work and passion.
I hope your business is growing well and will keep growing, so that, one day, you'll have clients all over the world. I would love to have the chance to work with you on my future home one day! Keep up the good work.
Your Kids are so cute and that baby is just the most beautiful little girl
Can I work with you? You guys rock!
Omg!!! I'm so ecstatic I came across this channel!!
Hard work, dedication, talent and above all … love! Such an inspiring family and videos. Keep up the good work and loving attention McGees😊
I'm so glad I found you on YouTube! Your style is AMAZING! New sub 🙂
Do you guus take projects in Canada?
you guys are so cute! I really enjoyed this video and also I just hit the subscribe button 😁
I just found out about your business and I absolutely love it! Congratulations! I hope you continue to be succesful because your work is beautiful and inspiring
I noticed a lot of interior decorators love to use the African elements like the weaved baskets and I even peeped some mud cloth fabric
I absolutely L♥VE all that you guys do–I've been a long-time follower of the blog & was thrilled to see you start this channel. The nursery turned out darling & it was really useful to hear about the process. Clearly you guys work incredibly hard and are so passionate–it's really inspiring! Can I make a suggestion? Cut the beginning of this video & use it to create a brand new video, "Introducing Studio McGee" to place at the beginning of this entire series. The current title ("Designing A Nursery") doesn't indicate to viewers that this is also an introduction to Studio McGee and that feels like such an important title to offer anyone new; a complete overview video. Also add to it, an introduction to your staff, their title/education, fold in how you guys got your start (such an amazing story–and you've deservedly BLOWN UP!) This will sum it up & instead of being asked the same questions over & over, you will have answered the majority and/or can point people to watch it. There are so many viewers that want the scoop–this would be super useful! Hope that's constructive–keep up the FANTASTIC WORK and keep the videos coming♥
I'm a new subscriber and I just love your videos. Especially love your inspiring start up story.
You guys are definitely going to get picked up by a network, it's only a matter of time! Your addicting to watch and have amazing talent. I was going to just watch one video before bed and that was 1.5 hours ago. Love husband and wife teams! My husband and I build farmhouse beds. : )
You guys are SO cute! I just found you! Definitely already told my sister haha! You have such amazing taste! I'm in awe! Love the rental aspect!
Amazing work! good luck with your business.
This is gorgeous!
Would love if hgtv took notice and gave you guys you're on show. Love watching you two. Lots of fun and very talented.
