Designer Jackie Glass transformed a dated bungalow into a bright and open-concept space with a clean-lined aesthetic. (And large windows throughout that give the home a stunning treehouse effect!) The house welcomes with stunning porcelain tile in the entryway, which is also used on the fireplace surround in the sunken dining room. The kitchen is the hub of the home, boasting two islands, a breakfast nook and an intimate seating area. The garage was turned into a serene master bedroom with a spa-like ensuite. Jackie also installed a walk-in pantry and a laundry room with a dog shower.

Great renovation, love the windows , nice touches like the dog shower and the Starbucks nook! ….and interesting to see a power couple sharing working spaces
The Kitchen actually has – what I refer to as "Lobby Effect" and it is a very Current Era Trademark, our Stamp of this era's Design with the Starbuck's and a Chicago/New York Hotel Bar – blend and it works so well for our Lifestyles in our 20's statement.
A hundred years ago – 1919-1920 – the Architecture was Art Deco, now "We have our 2020's Statement"!
Well done –
I LOVE your style!
Wooow ๐ฎ๐๐
The living room and guest room are beautiful but I donโt like the layout once open.
Beautiful
Gorgeous! Dream house!
Wow, just wow. Even the trailer looked amazing!!
That was gorgeous. I was always interested in the outcome of her remodel. It's perfect.
Love love โค๏ธ this house
That "trailer". Hilarious!
Wow love the after, its so open, airy.., and so bright. Dont like the before bcs it was too dark. Seeing Dark stuff just give me anxiety.
You "blew it out" for sure.
The exterior views are breathtaking!!!! The interiors have a few nice features as well. Some of the interior and exterior details would have been worth saving too. I think I'm lost with all the white though. I guess as empty-nesters it works for their needs in their house.
She should never ever say mid century again…
So you have a kitchen with size of a regular home and couldnโt fit the coffee machine and other stuff?
I love look and feel btw.
A sad makeover of a mid-century home, the porcelain tile in the entry way looked cheap and did not fit the aesthetic of the house – you stripped all the wood and character from the home to make it look like a cheap basic build in a new subdivision. Truly a shame to see people destroy what makes homes like these beautiful to make it look like every other home. Plastering the facade in a light grey looks out of place in the environment, such a shame.
Before look was better!
I liked the before better.
Love, Love, Love ๐ this reno!!!! Absolutely Gorgeous!
Im in love with the space. ๐๐๐
White for such big spaces doesn't make any sense. We're constrained to use it in small apartments, but when you have the choice?
Took the mid-century right out of it. Such a shame. Just a typical modern.
I love the house but the only problem is too many chairs๐
It is cold and has too many chairs. Actually, it is snobbish and looks like a generic expensive showhome, not a place you can cozy up..
Looks more modern and contemporary.
That Stone Cladding Exterior was Classy & full of character & now just another white one with zero character…
Inside- it's all white, hints of black & full of glass the end.
It's like killing history, this renovation made me sad…
The implementation of floor-to-ceiling windows was a great touch, especially because I'm assuming one of the objectives was to brighten up the space. Great renovation!
Not so good touch, its too naive design, i like before more than after, however its just my personal sincere opinion, pls dont mind me, hehe ๐
Ugly ugly light fixtures. Just dreadful.
I always wanted to know, how does one keep photo frames in a shower๐ฟ (or bathroom) without steam effecting the image, glass, or frame?
Love this beautiful design.
She's very rich !! ๐คฃ๐
I was born in 1951, so I grew up in MCM – hated it then; hate it now. But his place is just an abortion. Cold as ice and in no way cozy or inviting. Chacun a son gout.
how many times does Jackie Glass say "beautiful" Ha ha ha
Okay so clearly you're LOADED! Nice house though.
The before sun room was so beautiful, cozy and warm with plants 2:24
And the before exterior too. Now itโs just plain white.
Sorry but prefer the before design she destroyed something like Frank Lloyd Wright to just another meh design
Very beautiful….
Absolutely amazing remodel, so much work but such a great result. A couple of questions, by adding a master in place of garage, what did you do for the cars ? park on the street. Adding a master to the front the house did it bring in street noise ? Where did you buy the furniture, great layout and designs, compliments the remodel really well. I think you thought through things well, are you a designer if not what tools did you to plan everything ?
Something tells me this woman is a mid century interior hater like seriously the before style ia much more cozy and inviting than the after look.
sorry, just can't do animals in the house . . .
I love windows. But this house has too many big windows. Need some privacy.
