The garden urn as a storage container is such a great idea! Love it. 🙂
I love design, vintage fabrics, furnishings ,I absolutely love this
I so, so want a home near the water when I retire. But I'm so afraid of flooding.
People! It's entitled Ballard Designs. What would you expect? Anyway, this video is from 2011. If she still lives there, I'd be surprised. That is likely why she didn't paint. Plus, some people actually "like" white walls. Is that a sin now. Geez.
Oh, lovely home naturally – worthy of Architectural Digest. How do you leave?
JEALOUS RANT
Looks like a Nantucket home on the exterior. I love Nantucket (now home for only millionaires), thanks to billionaires, such as Bill Gates, who is said to rarely be there.
There is still a native tribe there – so I've heard and they'd be protected from the spiking taxes. People with old money pedigree are so interesting, regardless of their privileged upbringing.
I am so biased toward the New England (Boston Brahmin descendants) and I hope they realize how blessed they are to have the heritage that made the US modern and intellectually heady.
It's fun to get to see your home after seeing you visit all the friends. Love the color in the family entry!
I felt that her outfit (particularly the white heels and striped turtleneck) was very distracting… The home, too, felt too much like a showroom with very little personality…too flat and not enough layering.
Ballard Design, Ballard Design, Ballard Design, blah blah blah.. this was just an advertisement
Susanna is my favorite! Quintessence is her channel and it’s so much fun!
Love all your videos, but seeing your home is the BEST. We bought lake property 39 years ago, & we have enjoyed every moment here. Feel blessed to have lived here. Your style is awesome, & I look forward to
all your ideas. Thank you.
Like how your home is flooded with natural light such an interesting home calm and relaxing great colour scheme the mirrors are like ones I have by Julian mc donald
Let’s be honest. This is a Ballard Design infomercial.
Wow Susanna! It’s lovely! I just stumbled on your video today 😍
You are doing a great job.Its lovely to have seen your home for a change.
9 lemons on display for good luck?
Very catalogue type decor . I expected more uniqueness from a designer.
The entrey is terrible terrible because when a visitor come to your house the first thing he will see your shoeses these things should be in closet. Very bad choice your friends are right this is craziness
You have excellent taste I love it, its not busy just relaxing
Too much Ballard cheaper looking furniture…needs antique or quality pieces mixed in to elevate the design…and girrrrl- do somed with those white walls! Snore!
I do wish she’d take her shoes off the furniture
I´ve been following you, Susanna, visiting the famous people and their beautifully well decorated homes. Some more special than others and others more interesting even. As the interior design expert ise that you are I´d like to encourage you to continue this job, which is so agreeable for us to watch. Something I like of you and that I have observed is that you always make different comments about the places you visit. That makes you be unique.
I don't know how many times I've watched this video, and I still love elements of Suzanne's house in 2018! I drool over the chairs in the kitchen and their upholstery every time I see them. The color and print is so stunning! I also love the wall color of the family entry!! I tried to do that in my laundry room in 2010 (before I ever saw this video), but my orange turned out like Home Depot instead of the lovely color of bittersweet berries. Now, as we're moving, we have to repaint, but I want to try to get this color again in our new house—maybe in a powder room.
Lovely comfortable home x
I so enjoy Quintessence so of course seeing your beautiful home did not disappoint. It's absolutely lovely.
