I don't understand this. I don't understand it at all. Why the friggen, heck, is this stuff not coming back in style and for that matter, why did it ever, go out of style to begin with??!!
Honestly people, I've been in love with mid century furniture for a while now, thinking it had so much more, style, character and charm than most modern crap, and it DOES, by-in-large, but these pieces from the 20s and 30s blows everything else, clean, out of the water, completely! We have sunk so far, from this level of colour, character and charm, I don't even, know where to begin.
There needs to be a fringe movement to revive all this, from the 20s up to the 50s and I would be overjoyed to be part of it. The colour, the richness, vibrancy, and everything architecturally, from these decades. As the boring, dull, dead, hum-drum, crap of today is becoming utterly, putrid to me. Others too, I hope.
