I don't usually comment on videos but I like to give credit when it's due. Excellent job on your tutorials. I've watched quite a few now and you have a way of explaining things in a way that a novice like myself can really pick up things fast and keep up. Appreciate the hard work putting these videos together.
I find your tutorials very helpful, thanks
New Subscriber here.
All of this is really great!
I'd like to make a request, tho.
I'm having trouble organizing and finding my way around the SU files in my computer/laptop. I don't understand where they go when I dl them and why I can't find them when I want to gather up all the components I make in my models into folders to be used again in different models.
Can you do a video about this?
It's not very sexy, but it's really important and I can't seem to find anyone else talking about it either.
8-/ Thanks.
I am kind of new to this so i am not sure if by way of making so many groups, isnt it gonna slow down the model as well?
hi! the material download tip is really helpful! thanks! will be you able to do a video on vray rendering tips for interior modeling? that would be much helpful! thanks!
Nice Mr. Justin, Good collection of tips for using sketch-up to speed up modelling work flow in interior designing work
Being Interior Designer, you have given me lot of useful tips. Thanks.
"Styles" settings are so much more than your sayin…mention all the parameters u can switch on & off
During my workflow, I use an extension that allows for changing North, which helps to adjust the day/night cycle a bit better. After that is set, I save a scene, and then make all new scenes based on the original. of course, another great tip is to leave the shadows off while you work. It can slow you down when placing, editing objects. You can turn them on before rendering or when you need to cut final scenes.
Layer make a huge difference when rendering certain rooms. I layer based on rooms. For example if I am rendering the living room I turn off all the other rooms.
