Beautifully done
How pretty!
I’m sorry but a bin on wheels!!? It’s more than likely to be lightweight and can be moved easily regardless why the need for wheels!!
Too many pillows too many unnecessary object trinkets and books the carpet too busy the color palette of walls sofa and curtains dont go together….the lamps hanging over with wire too messy not relaxing womans cave.
Not a fan of the three lights with wires ….too much clutter with no purpose its just too busy very crowded
Am I the only one who hates it when books get used as decoration?
Love the sofa! But the lamp wires tho… 👎👎👎 not pretty
This is certainly a favorite video. Love-love!!! Thank you.
beautiful 🌻🌻
Not very cozy , and way too busy for my taste!
Never say ‘mom cave’ again
Some good ideas. Tables are not the same height as desks, though- so the table will be harmful to the joints of the body.
What a pleasant room. I loved the pink & think I would have added that color to the wall behind the desk and to the back of the bookcases. As to the discussion about "Mom Cave", I think they were looking for a single-syllable word for woman. We need more good moms, but not every woman has children. "Gal Cave" might work.
Absolutely wonderful.
I like the cabinets for clothing and the bookcase with a photo.
This room design will help with my standard one bdrm apartment. I have a red sofa to start and it's nice to see an informal design (many I see w red sofa are too dramatic w gold or all black). plus I need almost the same functionality.
i am just not into a mud room with carpets…does not make sense.
that couch did not have enough pillows.
What is the wardrobe cabinets from IKEA called? Did they come in that color or are they painted? Thank you
وااااو قمة في الجمال
Okay, this might be "feminazi" of me to say, but I find the term "mom cave" as the female equivalent to "man cave" grating. It's not called a "dad cave"; it's a space for a guy to fill with the things he loves, where he is an individual free from the responsibilities beyond "the cave" and he can just be a guy, nothing else. The female equivalent should be the same and, as such, the name itself shouldn't reflect the woman in question in relation to the rest of the family, she should get to have her own space where she is an invidual, not a "mom"; being a mom is a responsibility and she's a mom in every other room in the house. In addition, the space is designed more as a family room anyway, so why even call it a "mom cave" to begin with, when it's not just for the mom?
now I want a mom cave! 😍
Oh I would love to live in the cave. The only thing is the "tree" of lights would've chose different lighting
Reiko, I love your work. You're so talented. Keep shining! 🙂
awesome!!!!! lOVE!
I want a mom cave!!
i want one as well
nice work
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏💕💕
😝😝
I found that every room that I looked at, was very generic. Bland. One pink cushion on the bed didn't 'pop' the way I think the designer thought it did. The other thing I noticed. The designer was at a high end, with no budget, store. A lotta of us don't have the money to buy high end pieces. We scour 2nd Hand Stores and probably spent 1/4 of the money this designer spent and had a gorgeous 18'X18' square berm for my mom to move in on July 31, 2014. She was over the moon, that it was sooo calm, serene and hers. We took all the linens, cushions, and duvet off her bed and replaced them with hers. She flopped backwards on the bed, arms flung wide and excitedly said, 'Home at Last!!! She died this past June 12th of Ovarion and Uterine cancer, ironically at 85yrs old, but boy did she love her little apartment she set up for herself upstairs!!!
I've heard of it all now. A "mom cave". I would still like to incorporate some of these ideas and wonderful furniture from Ikea into my "bachelor cave" and then when I have children will call it my "father cave". And.. then when the children are gone and out, will call it a "man cave". Except the fact that I might still be living here with a beautiful wife, in that case I will just simply call it a "home", or she can have her own "wife cave" and before you know it, there will be stalactites coming down from the ceiling. Does Ikea sell a stalactite kit for your personal style of cave? Did I mention I love the Ikea furniture.
I would really love to know where the curtains come from, i love those!
Soo beautiful
it's weird how this is a "mom" cave but the others are usually called man caves. why isn't this just a woman cave? and why does it have to be punctuated with so much pink? this is such a cliche.
Loved the idea of papering the back of the shelves!
Wow this is amazing!!! it has toatly made me think how i can improve my room xx
