The proportions of the furniture does not match the space. They are oversized. The chairs by the window made the space crowded. The flow is severely impeded. Not a fan.
Gosh, I hate ottomans doubling as coffee tables. So impracticable. Like a dinky little tray is going to hold drinks and snacks , and the ottoman isn't going to be stained really quickly. You could have put a L-shaped sofa in that corner. Faux or otherwise, animal hide rugs are an abomination. And lastly, there doesn't look like there's much legroom in that conversation area. A crescent-shaped sofa with a small round coffee table would be a better choice.
so helpful and practical . I have the same kind of room and I am going to copy this
Its too cluttered with the chair by the fireplace now. I like the other 2 areas but too much furniture going on.
So much happening in there…its too much….
Way, way too cramned in.
too many chairs ruin the house
Why not an actual table? that you can eat, study, play, work? why that huge ottoman instead of a classic steady coffee table? The space in not small, just narrow
This was bad
Sorry, don’t really like. Looks like what it is: fast furnishing all bought at the same store
Hardly a small room if you can get all those chairs and sofas in it.
Very attractive and a new way to look at space. I am wondering how the owner is going to read in that chair by the fireplace with no lamp. Other that that, kudos!
Nice, but the furniture is too big. More zen for such a space.
That's a lot going on there.
So funny, people think they are only ones with taste,if you are not a designer then dont act like you know it all. So tired of minimalist trying to tell the rest of ys what to do. Hate ,hate, hate the bare, cild no personality of this trend.i dont tell you what to like ,you dont tell me
Oi ficou muito lindo grata 💋❤🙏
not the best solution too clutered, not practical white chairs and sofa with kids??? no dining table?? very chunky looking sofa for that space…!!!
Lovely make over!!!
in the UK this would be considered a large space 😉
It's gonna be hard to clean the floor
What is it with fake fireplaces? ? Who's gonna sit around it? Get rid of it.
too many chairs. the table is too low to dine and the dining chairs are too large. overall the room is too crowded. makeover failed
This is a TWO room zone….not 3…. you could put 2 smaller sofas flanking the fireplace with a coffee table in front of the fireplace…doubles as a boardgame table/zone…and reading by the fireplace.
That combination of the coffee table and chairs around it is great.
Wonderful. Very cosy 👌🏼
So much better than before! I probably would have gone with a smaller table though — but maybe this is good for kids kicking around and viewable from other parts of the apartment?
If I was there … Would made that nook a place to curl up and watch the outside world … A day bed …. Would make fireplace as the center of attention becoz it's amazing to sit near fire a Victorian look …. A dinning place for two would also be workable
No it looks too cluttered and the walls look bare. The 4 chairs leave no leg room and the wall color looked outdated. Also that fake tree is so ugly.
맘에 든다 포근하고, 한국은 왜 ? 운동장 인지 모르겟네 뽄데가리 없이
You are a REAL PRO!!! I am seldom impressed and this is AMAZING!
Too many chairs. Bulky chairs…
Like this…hgtv stop showing small space
Please give the square footage of the rooms that you transform, it is very helpful.
The chair near the fire is too bulky for that small space. Also, I don't think those shelves are appropriate for the room. Everything looks so cluttered. You didn't considered the width of the living room.
Wow, lots of negative nellies comments. Good for you anyway enjoy your decorating
Everyone keeps criticizing the chairs as being too big or clunky, but honestly I think the real problem is the open bookcase. All the things on it make the room look busy, and it makes you feel like you've got to turn sideways to fit between it and the chair. Lose the bookcase and hang some art there and problem solved.

It looked better before the chair parade and dont see where she was like to keep the traffic flowing n boom there is a big shelf
Very annoying intrusive background junk music…why?
Too many chairs
Cluttered and crowded… You call yourself an interior designer?
Cluttered
So much hapenning. People can't move so well in that kind of setup. Okay, just me
You could have had fabulous results shopping at Goodwill–at a fraction of the cost.
I have that sofa. It’s extremely comfortable.
I really like this. I have similar area that leads to small galley kitchen with w and d and no window. Do you do mock up designs?
👌This is incredibly good design. And the explanations paired up with the visual, so great job💯💯💯
The sofa doesn't look deep to me and all the pillows are not practical.
the circular table with circular chairs fit the area perfectly
