Hello, where is your brown leather couch from? Thanks! 🙂
Hey Sharrah, where is the metal and leather chair from that was in this video? Thanks!
Thumbs down for using LEATHER. I love your videos but I can not support Animal CRUELTY! You could use Pleather instead, no need to kill cows!!! 😡😠😠😠

I am transitioning my living room color scheme to navy with crimson/burnt orange and gold. I am purging the green from 2007 when I had avocado green, red and gold. So green is out, navy is in (along with all the larger neutrals (taupe/beige/greige/tan khaki). Navy seems to be everywhere right now. Sadly, I need to get rid of a 9'x12' beautiful Pottery Barn area rug.
3:07 sounds like yoshi using his tongue.
Oh, I wonder what my new colour palette will be? I am moving from a very typical Canadian apartment with details I call 'rental beige carpet' & 'rental beige wall', that dark kitchen that seems so popular and with similar cabinets in the bathrooms. As it was all brown & beige I wanted to light it up with some pops of colour like green & orange in the kitchen, but now my new kitchen is all white so I feel like updating the living room/kitchen colour palette.
how do make a dining room and living room that are pretty much a connected space cohesive? lived here for 17 years, still trying to get it right!
I love all of your ideas, just need more help!!!!
Love your videos! Your dog is adorable and he/she even ties the colors and textures of your home together! My daughter is moving into a 314 sq. ft. apartment. How can we separate bed, tiny tiny tiny kitchenette and other important areas in such a small space?
Love this! I’m going through the same thing right now! Is your couch from Article? Where did you get the new cream textured area rug from? (The one under the couch). Thanks!
I live in Manhattan Beach so I am digging the coastal look. Navy and cream with poops of different blues…even teal Live it.
My color palette is my home is Navy yellow white and rose gold
My color pallette is grey, espresso, white, (main metals are silver/chrome and oil rubbed bronze to match) with accents of blue, black, and other metal colors.
Clueless! Yes!
The color palatte in my home is coastal colors, blue, sea foam, coral and beige!
My colour palette is pirate ship. Dark woods, with black metal, with touches of jewel tones for extras, like forest green, amethyst and burgundy. So like a dark pirate ship with a pile of treasure that has been looted on my adventures.
Great video! Thank you for all these tips.
We still have carpet in our living room😩 is it weird to put a carpet on top?
My home is sort of a coastal & nautical glam – We live in a 1200 square foot home and out colour pallet is light blue, white, beige, grey and some silver & gold accents. Our whole home is decorated with coastal art work and trinkets🌊
We’re building a home right now – Hamptons inspired, and by the coast in Perth, Australia – and I am going insane trying to decide what colour hall table we will have. We have very dark hardwood floors, with white shiplap panelling to chair rail height down the hallway, and very light grey, almost white walls. I really liked what you had to say about mixing woods, but repeating the colours here and there. That’s exactly the advice I needed to hear! I’m thinking of going for a kind of bleached or white washed table in the hall, as I think a white table might get ‘lost’ against the white shiplap, and a very dark table might look too dark and formal. I will have the lighter wood in the dining and living room too. Hopefully it will work out! Thanks for your videos!
We are adding on and doubling our home space. I am so excited to watch this series. You are a lifesaver!!!!
Your makeup is perfect
Your 'butlers pantry' is a dining room-not a butlers pantry
I love clueless!
I Love White, Green, blues, gray and dark wood tones. I have always loved the beach vibe and now farmhouse with black fixtures. I grew up loving old houses!
My issue is my gifted cherry wood piano in our front room. Can’t/won’t paint it -so it sticks out like a sore thumb with my dark floors and lighter walls. I feel stuck with it dominating my front room. We use it every day though!
Well that room looks like a dining room.
Forget to mention and a lot of art I hate empty walls or the minimalist look. I feel more alive when there are stuff around. Glad to see you a realistic wanting to keep some things on the counter etc.
My color palette in my home is similar to yours with a variations of browns, , orange, green plants and different shades of creams from rugs to walls.
In the front of the house is a light cream near to white and as you continue walking through the home the shade get darker.
Most people don’t notice until they have meet the kitchen, family room and den.
Most things I have attempted in my house I learned from your mom. And it is really great to still learn from her daughter. Thanks.
New follower and really enjoyed your video. Love the shade of your lip color. What’s the name and brand ?
Weird room maybe dining area?
I find it difficult to match the wood from the floor, the doors and the furniture. Any tips?
blue, purple, cream, green
Explained very well n yeah it’s a big job to convert a house to home n u did a gud job 👌🏼👉🏾
Cherry wood
White
Grey
Pastel blue
Sage green
Pastel yellow
My palate colors are black, gray and accent color is yellow. 👈(favorite color) We are getting ready to move (in a few months) and I want a new color palate But I have no idea where to start. What are some great colors that go well with yellow? Help!!
P.s I love your outgoing positive attitude! Rollin with the homies is sooo something I would say!😆
1. select a color palette
2. use color repetition throughout the house
3. use texture repetition throughout the house
4. match the linens
5. mix different wood finishes
6. match all the hardware
My color palette is mostly layered blue (azure, turquoise, navy and baby blue ie whitened navy blue so same color really), some green (yellow olive and Kelly), some true red, and a punch of bright rose pink. My walls are white and my Persian rugs are the "heroes" that ties it all together along with the fabric Chia Mai Dragon in Alabaster.
Super cute! Where is your sofa from, I'm transitioning to camel colored from grey. Thanks!
